Miss Chloe is approximately 8 years old but has loads of bounce in her step yet. She is easy to walk with and would like a home where she gets a few easy-going walks around the neighbourhood each day. She would love a fully fenced yard to hang out and lounge in the sun in.

Chloe is a committed resource guarder of food, toys, and treats. This means if she has a bone to chew on (which she loves to do), she is not willing to give it back to you easily. There are ways to work with this and have it not be as large of an issue as this might seem. To help ensure a new home knows how to work with Chloe on her guarding, the rescue will pre-pay for two sessions with Shaggy Dog Pet Services (in-person if in the Kingston area, by Zoom if elsewhere).

Chloe is a happy girl who loves to be with her people. She would truly love someone who wants to putter around the garden while she watches over you, wants to do "pet me pet me" while watch TV, and someone who likes to brush her glossy coat. She loves attention and is a very sweet, friendly girl who will make someone a really nice companion.
